Attorney Lee completed her undergraduate education at the University of Dayton before graduating law school at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law.  While in law school at University of Denver, Attorney Lee stood out in trial advocacy.  Attorney Lee won the prestigious Hoffman Cup Trial Advocacy Competition, was selected as a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association Trial Team, and received a Scholastic Excellence Award for the Highest Grade in Trial Practice.  Attorney Lee also excelled in appellate advocacy.  Attorney Lee had the great privilege of clerking for the Colorado Supreme Court as a Judicial Fellow for Justice Eid. Attorney Lee also won the competitive Peter H. Holme, Jr. Barrister's Cup Appellate Advocacy Competition and was selected to be a member of the National Moot Court Appellate Team.

 

Attorney Lee graduated law school and started her career as a Deputy District Attorney for the 17th Judicial District in Adams County.  Attorney Lee eventually left the District Attorney's Office to manage a campaign for Michael Johnston for State Senator.  Attorney Lee won her campaign and began working for Senator Michael Johnston as his Director of Community Outreach. Attorney Lee then opened her own law firm in Cherry Creek specializing in criminal and family law.  After opening her own firm, Attorney Lee quickly gained national recognition.  

 

She became a National ABC News Legal Commentator (Law & Justice Unit), a Legal Analyst and Expert Defense Attorney for CNN's Headline News Nancy Grace Show, and has had many television appearances on national shows like CNN's Don Lemon Show, Good Morning America, MSNBC News, and Extra.  She has also been in many national publications including New York Post,  New York Times, USA Today.  Attorney Lee has appeared in international media including Ireland Talk Radio and London Times.  Locally, Attorney Lee has appeared as a legal analyst multiple times on Denver's ABC News and she has appeared on Coloraod Progress Talk Radio, Denver Business Journal, and the Denver Post.

 

Attorney Lee is deeply committed to making a difference in the community and fighting for her clients.  Attorney Lee is a Founding Member of the American Red Cross Bench and Bar Society, member of the United Nations Association, and actively fights for change everyday in courtrooms across Colorado. Attorney Lee is not afraid to go up against the system and fight for her clients.
